I hope Santa has been and brought you everything you wished and hoped for and that your day is spent with loved ones.
I shall be going to my eldest daughter`s to spend the day with her hubby and the children and my younger daughter, son in law and her in laws will all be coming too. I always think it`s the children, especially the younger ones that make Christmas special, mainly because they still believe and the magic is there.
For me Christmas is about spending time with loved ones. Yes, presents are lovely and all the food is too, but it`s the people you share it with that make the difference and make the day enjoyable and special.

so much preparation, it should last,
so much longer than just two days
that pass in a fun filled haze.

excess food, drink and such.
We`ll play the odd game or two
maybe more than just a few.
The kids toys will get a look
any unwrapped gifts will be shook.
The hours will be filled with fun
right through till the day is done.
It will be a wonderful day of leisure
