Crafts Galore! #Handmade #Folksy

Oh dear, oh dear. Just couldn`t find inspiration for a theme today. Must be the cold weather. Ahhh.... cold..... I could have gone for hats or scarves or gloves or all three. Oh well it`s a bit late for that now because I have already added the pictures from a variety of shops. I wandered about from place to place on the forums adding to my favourite shops as I saw things I liked. Then I looked at the new listings thread, then had a general wander. Still no inspiration. Then I looked at all the `My favourite Shops` on my page and off I went adding something from each of the new ones I`d added. So we have a great mix of crafts that i am highly delighted with. I usually get there in the end, even if it takes an hour or two longer than usual.
Hope you like them all as much as I do. Some great gift ideas there too.
Yesterday I looked after my youngest grandson and we decided to go on the bus. He does love the bus, sitting high up and able to see everything, chattering away non stop. First two stops were for me, the Post Office, to send two parcels and Argos to get the timer I forgot the day before. After that we wandered and looked randomly whenever the whim took him. Of course we had to end in poundland as he is fascinated by the place. Naturally he came home with a few things. The one he loved best came from poundland, it was an alien monster thing that he was fascinated with.
It`s amazing what takes their fancy.

part of this human race
when you close off mind and face.

Flowers #FolksyFriday

Okay, today as you can see I have gone for flowers. I thought it would make a nice change as their have been a few Christmas themed blogs. Natural for this time of year of course but it`s nice to have a bit of a change. It`s still full of great gift ideas whether you are looking for birthday, anniversary or christmas gifts.
Whatever you do get please buy handmade and support all these wonderful crafters, they deserve it.

Yesterday I took a trip into the city, not good I know and the worst part was that one of the items I went for I came home without, just forgot it completely. How annoying is that? On the plus side I managed to get my husband a christmas present. He is notoriously hard to buy for and we all try very hard to get something he will like and want. When asked what he wants, he always says nothing. One of these years he will get just that if he`s not careful.
Today I am looking after my youngest grandson so we may just have a little bus ride into the city and I`ll get the timer I forgot yesterday.... maybe. He does love going on the bus and usually when we do go we go into shops he wants to see or to the library to read a few books. He loves it in there too as the childrens room is so bright and colourful. I expect it will depend on the weather.

from little buds to very ripe.
Maybe that should be full blown
well past when the seeds are sown.
In the gardens the flowers have faded,
no more riots of colour make me jaded.
But now we can fill out homes with all of these
in any colour type or style that we please!

Crafty Creations #Handmade #Folksy

I couldn`t decide what to put on here today and after wandering aimlessly about I alighted upon the new listings thread on the forum. It was so much easier when they had pages of all the new listings, then you got to see all the different shops that listed. It was fun to discover so many shops I`d never seen before by looking there. Still never mind at least there is a place on the forums to add pictures of new listings for those that use the forums.
Hmmmm.... not sure that really made sense but I know what I mean.
I was at work today and I finally.... drum roll...... finally bought some christmas cards!! And even better.... another drum roll please..... I wrote some of them. Ta Da. Only all the work ones but it is a start and once you get started it is easier to get the rest done somehow. Well that`s what I`m hoping anyway.
Been rather under the weather with a kidney infection but that should start improving soon as the antibiotics take effect and then I`ll be bouncing back.
