I decided to do an art blog today and thought it would be mainly ACEO`s. Art Cards, Editions and Originals for those that don`t know what it stands for. I know what I`m like once I get started. I browse the ACEO thread first and before I know it the blog is full and I`ve got carried away and forgotten to look elsewhere. Well today I browsed the home page for a while and was surprised with how carried away I got with other art.
I just love looking at all the different types, it`s great. So today we have a good mixture of art for your perusal.

Art for one and art for all
or why would there be art at all.
Whether full of peace or full of passion,
I don`t know, which is the fashion?
Do you like big pictures on your wall
or don`t you like anything on the walls at all?
Whatever you like, I`m sure we`ll have it,
whatever the size we`ll make it fit.
Maybe you`re an artist too,
is painting what you like to do?
Maybe glass or ceramics is your thing,
do whatever makes your heart sing.
I love to paint and to draw
for me its what living is meant for.
That and crochet too of course
something I never have to force.
Now laundry and housework make me groan,
much of that and I want to moan!
Ironing is the worst of all
I really don`t like that at all.
It all keeps me from what I love to do,
making, creating and painting for you!!

#Orange Folksy Friday. #Handmade #Folksy

Friday again already, where does the week go? Friday means Folksy Friday when lots of sellers do a themed blog. So after having a browse I decided on an orange theme. Thats quite good for me I usually can`t decide what to do, as far as themes go and then give up and make it general. But today I have a theme.
Apparently orange is going to be one of the colours to wear for spring this year. Lets face it, once you start seeing orange and yellow you do tend to think of spring and summer. So in the vain hope that spring is coming sometime soon this blog is dedicated to the colour orange. There are all manner of orange items included, I hope you enjoy them.

Spring is coming, it`s not far away,
I`m bringing thoughts of spring today.
Orange is the colour for spring,
does it make you want to sing.
It`s a very bright colour, great to wear
or does the thought bring out you in a tear.
If you don`t want to go the whole hog,
if the very thought leaves you in a fog,
then accessories are what you need
we have the very thing, yes indeed.
Scarf or necklet, brooch or bag
in the fashion stakes you mustn`t lag.
Maybe a bracelet or a velvet pin,
don`t commit a fashion sin.
A cushion or a piece of art
that could be the way to start.
To get you in the mood for the new season
although for shopping do we need a reason?

Purple Passion #Handmade #Folksy

I think alot of people love purple, it`s certainly a favourite of mine. There are so many different shades too which makes it even more interesting. For me purple is quite an uplifting colour, definitely has a feel good effect. On the Folksy Forums a thread asking for anything purple produces an avalanche of delectable delights in all shapes, sizes and crafts. If you don`t have to go gift buying then take the oppurtunity to treat yourself!

Purple is a passion of mine
I think the colour is so fine.
A darker shade makes you feel like royalty
having lots of things in it, is real loyalty.
The paler shades are soothing and kind,
they always make me feel good I find.
Purple for your hair or on top a hat,
headbands and slides, how about that.
Scarves and collars for round your neck.
just get what you want, what the heck!
Bags, brooches and corsages galore,
in those shops there is so much more.
Cushions and bowls for the home too
So much to choose from just for you.
Gift boxes and cards are next on the list,
are you beginning to get the gist.
Aring, earrings and a bracelet on show
makes you want to shop, so off you go.
