Folksy Friday

Today is about all the good things on Folksy.

There is a great community spirit, if you ask for help someone steps in with the help you need.

Need to learn something? Someone does a "how to" in pictures. I learnt to make crochet flowers from Lemonade and Lamingtons blog on how to make flowers.
Easy to follow instructions and pictures to show how they should turn out.

That`s what I call a good tutorial and now I can make them easily and have added many of my own embellishments. I have seen many shop owners show how they make their goods in step by step pictures.
That's when you really appreciate the amount of work that goes into every handmade craft item.

Today I have put two beautiful Hairband/Headbands in my shop. The first is a Vivid Pink and White and the second is Orange, Red and Black. Go get them while you can, could be a case of Hair today, gone tomorrow.

Loved these birds on this Crown and Glory Bobby Pin Set by Crown and Glory.

Spooky and sensational, Caught in a Web earrings by Mirribeads.

Couldn`t take my eyes off this stunning Light Pink Single Egg Nest by Chuls Charms.

Spotted this beautiful Fossilised Shells Pendant and Sterling Silver by DamselFly Gemma.

Now I have spotted these wonderful buttons, hmmmm, I could use those! Three Pairs of differing Vintage Round Dark Wooden Coat Buttons from NOFKants Curios.

Have included some of the suppliers too as they have wonderful things we can`t manage without. Some so gorgeous that I start racking my brains for ways I could use them.

Hope you like all the choices today and that they inspire you to make or buy, either is good.

So go and get browsing on Folksy!!!

Happy Tuesday, thinking Christmas.

Morning all. It is a beautiful morning here in Norfolk.
A bit chilly still, but as the sun gets higher it will warm up. With the sun out its an odd time to think of Christmas but my browsing has spotted a christmas decoration.

With gifts to choose, paper, tags, cards and decorations to buy, alot of people do start early to spread out the cost. What better way than from the comfort of your own home. So much choice for all of you, whether its for you or someone else.

My listing this morning is a gloriously vivid scarflet, embellished with a large flower, for the wearer who dares to be different. Buy for yourself or as a gift. Have a look in my shop for more delectable delights.

On the Christmas theme A Christmas Tree Decoration by Blue Daisy Glass. In her shop are more decorations and lovely things for you to browse, well worth a look.

A great gift, or a treat for yourself. A Pink Mixed Bead Bag Charm by Sprinkles, a shop well worth browsing for gifts or stocking fillers as there are so many lovely things available.

Just spotted this Garden of England Bracelet by Paulaz Jewelz. It would make a wonderful present, especially as there is a matching Necklace. Would you be able to part with it though? Maybe if you had browsed her shop and treated yourself to something else delectable.

I hope you liked my choice of goodies today.
They are all shops worth exploring for treats for yourself or as gifts.
Go and have a look for yourself!!!

What do you think, was that waxing lyrical or what?
Well down to it then.
Today I am listing two hairbands or headbands, they can be worn either way. They are very pretty and each one is unique.
