With the need to do a few blogs in advance I decided I would do one as a treasury. As team members we need to take part and help promote other team members if we wish to enjoy the same benefits.
This one is a Euro Front Page Challenge for the Craftyfolk team and last weeks winner was Danielle of Colour Me Fun.

Thank you for popping by our shop! We focus on making quality hand-poured crayons in a wide range of colours and shapes. Not only do we use top quality wax we are also supporting UK industries by purchasing from UK makers.
Danielle makes a great variety of crayons and not just for the children. They are a great idea for wedding favours and party bags and gifts. Do have a browse I think you`ll be surprised to see the diversity of her designs, especially if you haven`t looked before assuming it was all children`s things.
A busy weekend ahead with a big family get together tonight, so I shall be doing lots of baking for that today. I`ll be making a variety of breads and a few quiches and possibly cakes too.
Then of course Sunday is Mother`s Day and I shall be at my younger daughter`s house and have a delicious Sunday roast cooked for me. That will of course be shared with my daughter`s lovely In Laws, so we will have a lovely time with good company and good food.

Who doesn`t love to see bright?
Always such an uplifting sight.
They make me think of summer days
and getting into summer ways.
The first one is the yellow
sunny, whether bright or mellow.
The very next is a red
cheery it has to be said.
Then comes a navy blue.
I found other shades too.
Pretty whether vivid or pale
pink is popular without fail.
The last but not the least
of this veritable feast
is the colour that loves to be seen
yes, I`m talking about the green.

Greenery #FolksyFriday

Couldn`t make up my mind what to have as a theme today. Lot`s of stops and starts didn`t help with the dithering either. I did originally decide to put the daily lister`s on here and even wrote the opening piece for it and then having to go on an errand suddenly had me thinking of something different. Then another halt had me going off on yet another tangent. Now though I think I have finally decided on a theme, I had better do it quick before I change my mind.
I decided to go with green after seeing a green glass butterfly on a forum thread. It just really stood out and that was it. I think you`ll see which one it is. I did make the mistake of just peeking at what else there might be in green in this shop. Bad mistake! Such stunning creations and gorgeous colours that I had to force myself back on track. Have to say looking at the first page of the shop I almost changed to rainbows. But I managed to focus and finally get on with it.
Yesterday seemed to be all rushing here and there and not achieving much at all. I did get lot`s done just not much of what I meant to get done. Oh well, such is life.

A bright blue sky, a touch of sun
ahh, we thought, winter`s done.
But no such luck, it`s back again,
enough to drive us all insane.
Once more we`re back to endless grey
more depressing each and every day.
Temperature dropping right back down
have to say, it`s making me frown,
In spite of that we have green
I`m sure you must have seen
little shoots here and there
though much is still so bare.
Although it`s not in a rush or hurry
every so often there`s a flurry
of movement that says, new season,
of growth that gives us a reason
to hope the weather will be bright
and we`ll bask in the spring light!!

Pastel Pink #Etsy

This started life as a treasury for the Craftyfolk Shop of the Week, Snuggles&Cuddles. I decided to do the proverbial two birds with one stone, metaphorically speaking of course and put the contents on here.
The owner of this beautiful shop is Eleanor and she not only makes gorgeous baby clothes and accessories, she also makes Jewellery. Then as if that wan`t enough she makes cards too.
Her bio says:
Young at heart, mum of 2 grown up children. Love all crafts, but knitting is my 1st love. started knitting at the age of 6, 37yrs later I still love it!
Short and to the point but says a lot. That knitting is her first love is obvious from the gorgeous and very cute baby creations. The jewellery too is beautiful as are the cards, a very obvious testament to Eleanor`s love of crafts.
If you get the chance do have a browse through all these lovely shops otherwise you`ll never know what gorgeousness you missed.

Pastel pink is very sweet
almost good enough to eat.
Some so pretty it would seem,
it could be eaten like ice cream.
So much pink could mean maybe,
the secret is out there`s a new baby.
One that will be sugar and spice
and of course, all things nice.
Big girls too, they like pink
supposed to make the boys wink.
These days though the boys like it too
and there are more than a few.
Once upon a time they`d shy away
from wearing pink on any day.
Pastel pinks, made for spring
almost make me want to sing.
Soon we`ll be wearing pink dresses
cardigans and wraps and in our tresses.
Pink though is lovely all year round
most pastels in spring will be found!!

Easter Bunny #Folksy

We haven`t had much on here for Easter as yet so I think it`s time to remedy that. The Folksy Front page had rabbits on it which gave me the idea for Easter Bunnies, but as yet no Easter section so I made my own search.
Mind you, when they do have a specific section it only has a small sample of what`s available so I tend to make my own search too anyway.
I liked the idea of the rabbits and when the search revealed a good variety I decided to go ahead. Who knew there would be such a varied selection?
Let`s see now, how far away is Easter? By my reckoning it`s about 3 and a half weeks, not long at all.
For those that haven`t got their Mothers Day gifts or cards as yet, it isn`t too late to buy them online, many like me, always send out 1st class post. Just be sure to check that it is and if you are running out of time, why not get it sent direct, especially if you have to post it on anyway.
Yesterday was such a beautiful day with blue sky and sunshine after such a dull start. It was quite windy and chilly but at least it was bright. Just what we all need after such a long winter.
Yesterday afternoon I went shopping, after school, with my grandaughter who will be 16 years old today. Not quite sure where the years went or how she grew up so fast, but I am very proud of the beautiful and caring young woman she has become. There will be big family celebrations at the weekend for her birthday, but today she will be celebrating with her friends.

The Easter bunny will soon be here
it`s coming fast that`s clear.
Hopefully he`ll bring spring too
hints of green will be the clue.
Easter eggs will abound
with some hidden in the ground.
Egg hunts put kids to the test
as they race along with the rest.
Who will find them and get the prize
all of course, that`s the surprise.
The Easter bunny hops along,
without him it would all be wrong.
Will he be chocolate or stuffed
tasty and yummy or cute and fluffed.
Such a choice that we have now,
it`s enough to crease the brow.
Don`t forget a hot cross bun
all part of the Easter fun.
Easter delights are just divine
looking good and tasting fine!!
