#Saturday Showcase.

Back to the lovely sellers who have favourited my shop today. I think they must be lovely as they like what I do, or at least I hope they like some of it.

Just got distracted by a hot air balloon sailing majestically across the sky. Don`t know what it is about them, but they always give me such a thrill to see them. I could watch them for hours. The odd thing about them is that they hardly seem to move, but they are gone so fast. It is very exciting too when you see a flock of them chasing each other through the sky. Or maybe it`s just me and I`m a bit odd. No not odd, maybe a little eccentric. Oh no, I`m waffling again, got completely off topic, all because of a hot air balloon.

Took two of the grandchildren to the cinema yesterday to see Hop. It was very enjoyable and funny too, certainly worth seeing. Mind you, I do love children's films, probably more than adult films. Lucky really that I have got grandchildren to take with me. Ate far too much popcorn as usual, trouble is I kind of feel obliged to eat it, because it`s the cinema.

I watched a hot air balloon
it disappeared much to soon.
It sailed majestically along
looking like a giant gong.
It seems to hardly move at all
looks as though it might fall
from the sky at any time
even as I write this rhyme.
Yet before I know it, it`s tiny
like a ball, but not shiny.
What`s it like to sail the sky
it just looks so very high.
I`m afraid of heights you see
you wouldn`t get me in a tree.
Let alone in a balloon up there
caught in the sun`s harsh glare.
If it`s cloudy like today
will it be cold on the way?
The scenery must be amazing
as you stand there gazing
at the magnificent panorama below,
watching it beneath you flow.
The basket always seems so small
I`d feel like I could fall.
One day I might overcome my fright,
to have a go, for such a wonderful sight.

What I wonder will we have today? Can`t decide yet I will have to go and have a browse and wander on Folksy to decide.
had a browse and a wander and I have decided to do an Easter blog with cards and gift ideas as an alternative to chocolate. After all, not everyone wants or likes chocolate. I have only just realised how close Easter is, I should have done a few Easter blogs by now. Never mind I will do a bigger one at the weekend. Anything you buy over the weekend can be posted on Monday and should reach you in plenty of time.

Sunny days and moon filled nights,
these are such wonderful sights.
Spring is sprung, everythings growing,
I love to see nature flowing.
Soon it will flow into summer days
warm summer sun in which to laze.
Barbecue smells will fill the air
plan one ahead if you dare.
The great British summer isn`t always good
certainly not months of sun as it should.
But maybe we would get bored if it was
everything would dry up, no green because
our climate is used to regular rain
we wouldn`t like to have drought again.
So although we always like to complain
we need the water that runs down the drain.
As long as we get the sun too
that will be great for me and for you!
We want nice weather with Easter on the way
would be great for all the children on holiday.
I can`t believe it`s got so close already
just take the shopping nice and steady.
I`m here to help with an Easter card and gift

Delectable Delights #Handmade #Folksy

Back again to the wonderful sellers who have favorited my shop. I am getting through them now as several are on holiday and some shops are empty and others are customers. I will go back and check on those who are on holiday to add them at the end. It would be a shame for them and you, to miss out on revealing their treasures too. Don`t forget to have a browse through the shops if you have a little time to spare because you only see one item on her. Many of these great shops have an amazing diversity of goods for your delectation.
I`ve been busy painting up a storm over the last few days and loving it. It`s so great to have my artists mojo back again. Does that sound weird? Probably, but that`s how it feels. I lost it for a while and felt quite bereft. Now it`s back with a vengeance and I`m painting from memories in my head. I will be listing some of them over the next few days, so I hope you`ll like them as much as I do.

The sun came out after the rain
it washed everything clean again.
After a wet and chilly night
the sun was a very welcoming sight.
The forecast had been full of doom,
but it was bright, not a bit of gloom.
The weather stayed that way
mostly sunny, all yesterday.
I braved the city, grandchildren in tow,
there were people everywhere, you know.
Afternoon and I was painting once more
and I managed to finish off four.
I was really pleased with what I`d done
and best of all, it was enjoyable and fun.
I`ve been playing with painting moonlight,
mainly because I always love the sight
of the moon shining across the sea
from the deck of a ship, where I`d like to be.
Dolphins too are a favourite of mine
seeing them leap out of the water is fine.
Now I`m dreaming of a long holiday
have I got time? Not yet, no way!
Nearly Easter and time off for most
maybe I will head off to the coast!
