P is For ... #FolksyFriday

Well I may be doing 3 blogs less a week but so far I don`t seem to have gained any extra time from it. I`m sure it will come though...... maybe.
Anyway, back to it, can`t go digressing this early on else we`ll be all over the place.
Continuing with the alphabet theme, today we have the letter P. As letters go this was relatively easy .... ish. Wasn`t quite such a struggle to find categories and only one I tried was a fail, not enough diversification. I still had several in reserve by the time I`d finished and I didn`t need to resort to the dictionary. Pat on the back for me.
So here we go again then. P is for Penguin, Purple, Plate, Pony, Pink and Pottery. Hope you like my choices.
Yesterday I spent some time needle felting before taking my grandson on the bus to the city. We had a wander and looked in shops he fancied before having our lunch out. We had said we`d have it at home but he decided he preferred to eat out in our usual place before returning home.

We have the letter P today
and it was quite fun to play
with the words I found
plenty of goodies around.
I didn`t use purse, pillow or pea
though they were on the list, you see.
Lot`s of others I didn`t get to
but I still found lot`s for you.
I went for purple and pink
much favoured colours I think.
An easy one was pottery
not so much of a lottery.
Then a bird, the popular penguin
one that will always win.
I wasn`t sure about having plate,
but lot`s of diversity there of late.
Pony, well I couldn`t resist,
such delights on the list.

N is For ... #Etsy

Still doing the alphabet and right at this minute I can`t think of a single category, which really doesn`t bode well. After the last two letters came so easily it`s a bit of a shock.
I`m sure I`ll come up with something if I go and have a look on Etsy.
I managed to get 6 words for categories then only used half as I came up with more and better ideas as I went along. Phew! Wasn`t as bad as I thought it was going to be.
So here we go. N is for Narwhale, Nest, Ninja, Neon, Noah and Notebook.
A good mix of delectable delights. I`m finding this quite fun as I am discovering amazing crafts that I wouldn`t have thought to look for without doing the alphabet. I hope you are enjoying this too.
Yesterday started off with a gorgeous sunrise, becoming blue sky and sunshine. Sadly, later in the afternoon mist rolled in and it became damp and cold, not nice. I however was perfectly happy, once the housework was done, working on my new line of inspirational art.
Now that I`ve got the formula set out it is much easier. I think I was making it too complicated, hence the difficulties at the start.

I started out not so well
and I thought I could tell
that it would go badly
and that I ought to sadly
add in another letter
but then it got so much better.
The ideas, they just grew
and my fingers they busily flew
finding lot`s of crafts for the blog
instead of moving through a fog.
That`s how it feels when ideas won`t flow
and then my brain seems extra slow.
For today it was eventually going fast
I finally got into gear at last.
The narwhale seemed like a good un`
so cute and cuddly and even fun.
Hadn`t even thought of nest
not even bandied about in jest.
Ninja, neon and Noah were great
as was notebook that appeared a bit late.

M is For ... #Etsy

Today we are on M of the alphabet and I shall see what I can find on Etsy for today.
Have managed to come up with a decent list of words, now to see if I can find creations in those categories.
Wow I`m impressed. That`s the second blog that`s run smoothly. Each word I chose as a category had plenty of creations I could show you. Not sure if it`s just that I`m getting better at thinking up categories in the letter, or better at picking out the words that will be viable. Either way I am delighted with the way it went, gives me hope for the other half of the alphabet.
So now they are all on here and we have: M is for Mermaid, Moustache, Mushroom, Mouse, Moon and Map.
I even had another seven I could have used.
I was at work Saturday, so nothing exciting there but I did go out later for a drink at the local pub with my hubby and we met my younger daughter and her husband for an enjoyable evening. Made a nice change.

Starring the letter M today

Followed by moustache, who knew
there`d be so many, didn`t have a clue.
Mushroom was next, for your delight
so many and such a pretty sight.
Then came something so cute, a mouse

The moon of course with it`s light
is wonderful the way it shines at night.
Map is the last but not the least
and together they make a great feast
